What to study
Outpost furnishing runs through a Device Catalog that treats every purchasable object as an inventory decision: each Storage row gives the cabinet's picture, its iron cost as a have/need pair (the Supplies Cabinet's 0/4 greys out its PURCHASE button), and an 'In outpost: 1/20' line that counts what the base already holds against its device cap. The panel takes the right half of the screen and never leaves the world, the outpost interior, crew included, stays visible behind it, with the departure objective still pinned across the top. The frame is from the developers' Dev Diary Ep. 2, and its narration subtitle runs along the bottom edge; the catalog itself is unobstructed. Pre-release footage, the expansion launches Dec 2, 2026. Frame at about 0:49 in Dev Diary Ep. 2 (Steam).

Screen inventory
- a 'DEVICE CATALOG' panel filling the right half: a Filter field, a category icon row (weapons, fabricators, medical, tools) and a 'STORAGE' section header
- three purchasable rows with thumbnails, one-line descriptions and iron costs: SUPPLIES CABINET (0/4, its PURCHASE button greyed out), MEDIUM STEEL CABINET (16/4), LARGE STEEL CABINET (16/6)
- each row tracks the installed base too: 'In outpost: 1/20' under every cabinet, with a teal PURCHASE button at right
- the outpost interior behind the panel: two crew on different decks, a steel cabinet already installed, wall posters and hazard-striped machine panels
- an objective banner across the top: 'SELECT MISSION AND LEAVE BALUNI'
