What to study

Home & Harbor gives Barotrauma's outposts a full research economy, and the tree is organised the way the outpost itself is: four columns (Power, Science, Materials, Habitation) under a tab bar that also holds Modules, Resources and Dwellers, so research reads as one department of a single management screen. Each card spends Research Points and states its payoff as a plain UNLOCKS list, a module layout here, a catalog item there, with the completed Outpost Essentials card already stamped DONE in green. The trailer's own section title, 'OUTPOSTS Economy & Industry', is burned across the bottom-left corner and covers the Biofuel card; every other card is fully legible. Pre-release footage, the expansion launches Dec 2, 2026. Frame at about 0:26 in the Home & Harbor Expansion Gameplay Trailer (Steam).
