What to study
The Apothecary panel teaches the game's whole production grammar in three rows. Each recipe is written as an equation, ingredient icons with counts on the left (3 + 4 + 2), an equals sign, and 10 units of product on the right, so a production chain is read arithmetically, without opening a single submenu. Around each equation sit the three decisions a viceroy actually makes: a tick for whether the recipe runs at all (Tea and Incense on, Biscuits off), a priority stepper (1, 1, 0) for which recipe eats first when ingredients run short, and a LIMIT stepper for the stock level at which the building stops (Incense capped at 20; Tea and Biscuits unlimited at '-'). The header compresses the building to its identity, what it can produce, with star ratings; which rain it burns (Clearance Water, a different water from the draft screen's Drizzle); and its Specialization bonus icons, while the staffing lives outside the panel altogether, as two silhouette-plus worker slots floating over the building in the world, next to the DEACTIVATE switch. The panel never covers the settlement it describes: the Apothecary's purple roof and pipework stand in the rain beside it. Frame at about 0:54 in the 1.0 Release Date Trailer video (Steam), manually extracted at 54.0s: the scene-change pass emitted no frame inside the building-panel segment (its nearest candidates are the Pick a Building reveal at 41.5s and the trader panel at 56.7s).

Screen inventory
- panel header: APOTHECARY / PRODUCTION BUILDING, under four icon tabs, with the summary lines 'Can produce: Tea (**), Incense (**), Biscuits (**)', 'Can use: Clearance Water' and 'Specialization bonus:' with its two icons
- a DEACTIVATE button riding the panel's left edge, beside two circular worker slots drawn as silhouettes with green plus marks, floating over the building itself, staffing is edited on the panel's border, in the world
- RECIPES section: three recipe rows, each an equation of ingredient icons with counts (Tea: 3 + 4 + 2 = 10) followed by a LIMIT stepper with a lock; Tea and Incense are ticked on, Biscuits unticked
- each row carries its own priority stepper at the left (Tea 1, Incense 1, Biscuits 0), its production time (01:43) and its star rating at the right
- Incense's limit is set to 20 while Tea's and Biscuits' read '-' (unlimited), production caps are set per recipe, on the row
- the building stands in the world beside the panel: the purple-roofed Apothecary with its pipes and water tanks, a flower farm in the foreground and a leaf-roofed species house behind

Fetched 2026-10-21. verified 2026-10-21: frame manually extracted at 54.0s from the pipeline-downloaded 1.0 Release Date Trailer (Steam) and inspected visually at full resolution (1920x1080 native); genuine in-game Apothecary panel confirmed settled and legible (header and summary lines, all three recipe rows with ingredient counts, priorities, times, star ratings and the Incense limit of 20 all readable; a probe at 52.0s shows the same panel with the Tea ingredient radial picker open, 54.0s is the clean settled state, and the filmstrip frames at ~50-56s bracket the segment); no trailer typography overlays the frame
