What to study

This is the battle board in its targeting state, distinct from the card-play state: instead of an arc from the hand, a white ring settles on Berra, marking the chosen card while its effect text (Restore on kill) stays readable below the portrait. The crystal arena changes the board's surface completely from the snowy field, proving the board is a frame the game re-skins per encounter rather than a fixed backdrop, while the stat grammar (hearts, swords, counters) stays identical so the re-skin costs no readability. Frame at about 74.1s in the Release Date Trailer (Steam). No trailer burn-in or caption on this frame.
