What to study

The Baleful Edict is the game's base, and this screen is how it is run: a holographic wireframe of the strike cruiser floats over the strategium table while the left column states the ship in three numbers (Hull Integrity 3/3, Ship Speed 100%, Gun Battery Level 1) and the right panel prices one upgrade. Improved Reactor Output I costs 12 Servitors and 12 days for +4 Ship Speed, and the choice is made legible the same way in every panel: a headline benefit, a line of flavour text, then two cost chips and a single UPGRADE button. Below, the facility strip (Plasma Reactor, Augmentation Chamber, Libris-Malleus, Warp-Drive) shows the rest of the ship as locked slots, so the upgrade is read against the whole vessel it belongs to. Frame at 0:57 in the Launch Trailer video (Steam), scene-change candidate v0_0016 at 57.15s. Flaws: the trailer's framing crops the top Servitors bar and clips the bottom facility strip mid-icon; the frame is presented as the trailer framed it.
