What to study
The Pal Labor Research Lab turns base work into a research tree: each work type (Handiwork, Kindling, Watering, and more) has its own level track, and the selected subject shows a tiered node graph where unlocked nodes are gold and locked nodes are grey. The effects list on the right states exactly what each level buys, from a new technology unlock (Fountain) to percentage boosts for work speed, crop growth, harvest yield and research speed. A second track can run in parallel, shown by the Lumbering Lv1 progress bar at the bottom. User-provided private screenshot, supplied 2026-11-01; no video source or timestamp exists for this frame.
