What to study

The campaign's endgame choice is presented as two tarot-like cards on papyrus, not a menu: Egypt or Hatti, each with a painted court scene and a paragraph of stakes, each ending in the same CHOOSE THIS PATH button. The symmetry is the design: the choice is framed as equal and irreversible, and the tooltip's warning about Pretenders tells the player the crown, once claimed, must be defended. The papyrus texture and flanking ruler portraits make the screen feel like a proclamation rather than a settings page. Frame at about 15:48 in the Ramesses gameplay video (Steam). Framing note: the intro paragraph at top is partially covered by the open tooltip; both path cards are fully legible.
