What to study

World events arrive as a two-part system: a modal tells the story ('Who shall prove to be the true ruler?') while the Event Messages sidebar files it, with counts for open categories (World Events 2, New Victory Objectives 10). The sidebar is the design worth copying: events are not one-and-done popups but an inbox the player can reopen, with the count badges doing the triage. Frame at about 15:40 in the Ramesses gameplay video (Steam). Framing note: the sidebar is cropped at the frame's right edge by the video, and the top campaign bar is out of frame; the event text itself is fully legible. Screen type rationale: dialogue is the manifest's nearest type for a narrative event panel; no dedicated event-message type exists.
