What to study

The sequel's new map screen, and the biggest structural difference from the predecessor: where the first game's map was an island to explore, this one is a puzzle to solve, placing suspects into cells on a floor plan. The empty cells with their small circles, the one placed portrait, the question-mark silhouette, and the three portraits waiting in the tray together say what the interaction is without a word of instruction. Frame at about 11.7s in the Release Date Trailer (Steam). No trailer burn-in or caption on this frame.
