What to study

The exploration HUD stays tiny against the hand-drawn room: five red hearts for health, a companion portrait with a segmented meter, and three shell icons, all pinned to the top left so the checkerboard floor and the red thorn patches stay readable. The vignette and torn-paper edges are the game's picture-book framing, not a menu, and the HUD never competes with them. Frame at about 22.6s in the RDA Trailer (Steam).
