What to study
Noita's inventory is a workbench laid over the cave. Three labelled runs of slots across the top hold everything carried, wands, items, stored spells, while each wand gets a card whose entire stat block is two words: Shuffle and Spells/Cast. Because the selected card expands in place into the full slot row, browsing and editing are the same screen, and the design lesson is how little the game needs to say: a wand is its sprite, two values and a row of icons. The perks at right matter to the layout, too, 'Edit Wands Everywhere' is a rare upgrade, and its presence quietly admits that normally this workbench only opens inside a Holy Mountain. Frame at about 0:08 in the Noita - 1.0 Launch Trailer (Steam; manual extraction, the inventory opens and settles between the trailer's scene cuts).

Screen inventory
- the top bar is the whole carry state in three labelled runs: WANDS (three wand icons, the third highlighted, two carrying tiny count badges 10 and 5), ITEMS (a single flask), and SPELLS, a long storage bar holding just two spells, a green burst marked 7 and a purple burst marked 5, so spare spells are physical inventory, not an abstraction
- each wand is a card in the left column: its pixel sprite, the only two stats this screen ever shows, Shuffle (No / Yes) and Spells/Cast (1 / 1 / 10), and its spell icons beneath; the selected cyan wand's card is orange-bordered and expanded to its full ten-slot row, five slots filled, so one card is always the editor and the rest stay one line tall
- the character state never leaves the screen: top right, health (+30), levitation and mana bars stack above a $0 gold count, and the two owned perks are listed as text with icons, 'Edit Wands Everywhere' and 'Strong levitation', the first of which is the very reason this screen can be open mid-cave at all
- the witch stands idle in the jungle cave behind the panels, wand raised: the inventory is an overlay on the live, paused-looking world, not a separate mode the game switches to
