What to study

Monster Train 2 inspects a card by raising it over the hand, rules text and all: Golden Touch costs 1 ember, deals 12 damage, and its Slay line pays a Dragon's Hoard, while the floor above keeps the combat state in view (attack/health pairs, a -7 damage tick, a dead 7/0 unit marked X). The hand below shows the economy at a glance: a duplicate Golden Touch and two 0-ember Witchweaves beside the raised card, so the cost of playing it is visible against what stays free. Frame at about 0:01 in the Launch Trailer (Steam).
