What to study

The train's verticality is the battle UI: two floors stack in one frame, split by a floor bar carrying PgUp / PgDn tabs for jumping between them, and each floor's units carry attack/health pairs plus status markers (Decay 2 on the enemy, -6 ticking on the skull brute). The hand stays anchored at the bottom, Spear Steward raised at 1 ember, green-cauldron spells beside it, with End Turn at right and the ember count (2, +3) at left, so the whole turn's decision fits one screen.
