What to study
The spell list as a book, not a menu: twelve spells on two pages, each with its cost printed underneath like a price tag, and the school tabs as bookmarks sticking out of the side so the player can feel how thick each school is. The adventure map stays visible behind the book, so the spell never leaves the world it will be cast in. Manual ffmpeg extract at 52.5s in Heroes of Might & Magic III - HD - Launch_US (Steam); the scene-change pass caught this screen at 52.39s. No trailer burn-in, caption, or logo on this frame. Caveat: the page is fully rendered in a short hold window (52.4-52.6s identical) bracketed by the open and page-turn animations.

No direct Dotemu video-use policy found and no live Ubisoft video-use policy found (searched 2026-11-06). Ubisoft's old standalone video policy page (help.ubi.com/video) now redirects to the Ubisoft homepage; the policy text survives only in a secondary source, theaveragegamer.com (Dec 2013): free to make videos (walkthroughs, Let's Plays, reviews) with Ubisoft game content, do not distribute assets separately, non-commercial use unless approved, do not charge viewers, do not sell or license videos, YouTube Partner Program monetization allowed, violations may lead to removal. Secondary, thirteen years old, not a live official page. Ubisoft's current Terms of Use (https://www.ubisoft.com/legal/documents/termsofuse/en-US, verified live 2026-11-06) bars infringing content but contains no creator/video-use permission. A Steam EULA result surfaced in the Dotemu search (eula/657900_eula_0) cannot be attributed to Dotemu or this game (appid 657900 returns success:false from appdetails) and is not relied on. No Heroes of Might and Magic III - HD Edition-specific fan-content guidelines found. Partial fit, stated plainly: the historical policy covers gameplay videos by individual users, not stills from official trailers on a fan study site. Fair-use fallback for Phase-2: frames are stills from the official Steam trailers, each with a study note (commentary), unofficial, not endorsed, copyright (c) Dotemu / Ubisoft, takedown honoured within 48h. Note: the underlying 1999 original is New World Computing (3DO, defunct) art and design, remastered by Dotemu for Ubisoft — a third rights layer that does not change the fallback.
