What to study
Backpack Hero's item cards are written in three spatial dialects, adjacent, in this row, connected, and this frame catches all three at once, on three cards that share one strict template of name, cost badge, type, rarity and ruled effect lines. That consistency is what makes the spatial vocabulary learnable: because every card is laid out identically, the only thing that changes from item to item is the geometry of its promise, and deck-building becomes a reading skill before it becomes a packing skill. Frame at about 0:17 in the 1.0 Launch trailer (Steam; manual extraction, the three cards hold between the trailer's scene cuts). Disclosure: the parchment banner across the top of the frame, 'Discover the best combinations', is the trailer's own caption sign; the three cards beneath it are the game's own interface, shown enlarged by the trailer's presentation.

Screen inventory
- three item cards stand side by side in one format: a name plaque on top, a round cost badge at the upper right (2 in yellow, 1 in green, 1 in green), the item's sprite centred, its type lines at the left, MELEE WEAPON, GEM SHIELD, MAGIC / MELEE / WAND / WEAPON, and its rarity at the right in colour, LEGENDARY in magenta and RARE in yellow
- the Jade Axe's text is a spatial rule stated as plainly as a stat: beneath the CONDUCTIVE trait line, 'ON USE, DEALS 14 DAMAGE' and then 'ADJACENT WEAPONS GET +1 DAMAGE THIS TURN', where the axe sits in the bag is part of what the card says it does
- the Amethyst Buckler teaches the second spatial scope: 'WEAPONS IN THIS ROW GET +1 DAMAGE', row, not adjacency, over its own 'ON USE, ADDS 6 BLOCK', so two support items buff by different geometries and the player learns to pack for both
- the Fire Staff completes the lesson with a network: CONDUCTIVE, 'ON USE, ADDS 2 BURN TO ALL ENEMIES' and 'ADDS 3 MANA TO CONNECTED MANA NETWORK', connected is a placement claim, and the card assumes the bag, not the tooltip, is where it will be judged
