What to study

The Crucible update's mutator screen treats rule-tweaking as a table, not a pile of sliders: one list, one checkbox column, nine units from Augre to Witch Doctor, each row carrying only an icon and a name. The tabs split the roster by faction (Intelligent, Beast, Empire) so the list never scrolls, and the warning panel on the right does the honest work the table cannot: it tells you plainly that extreme mutator use may make the game unstable and unsupported, with the Abyss portrait beside it so the caution reads as character, not legalese. Back, Restore Default and Confirm sit in a fixed bottom bar, so the screen is a decision you commit to, not a setting you drift through.
