What to study

The investigation before the deduction: a whole explorable scene presented as a single painted island, with the interface reduced to three circular buttons on a brass bar at the top right. The contrast with the Thinking panel is the point. Out here the game shows almost nothing, so the player must look; in the panel it shows everything collected, so the player must think. The cursor over the beach signals that the scene itself is the interface, and every ruin and building is a hotspot waiting to be opened. Frame at about 1.0s in the Lemurian Vampire DLC Trailer (Steam). No trailer burn-in or caption on this frame.
