What to study
Path of Exile 2's endgame map refuses to be a menu: the Atlas is a landscape first and a graph second, its nodes sitting in the mountains and forests they represent, joined by dashed routes you read like a journey rather than a list. Information arrives as marginalia, when the trailer wants to explain the reworked Ritual system it does not open a panel, it pins purple serif labels beside the four nodes they describe ('Foretold Bounty: Mageblood'; three 'Foretold Proliferation' lines about Ritual Altars and Tribute), keyword underlined, and lets the map stay the screen. Node state needs no legend either: green and blue glows mark the live chain, plain plates wait their turn. Frame at 1:14.0 in the Return of the Ancients Official Trailer (manual extraction; the scene-change pass caught only UI-less cinematics from this trailer). Disclosed: the trailer caption 'RITUAL REWORKED' is burned into the bottom of the frame.

Screen inventory
- the node web is drawn straight onto painted terrain, grey mountains, dark forest, pale desert at left, sea with island nodes at right, with small circular node plates joined by dashed route lines
- node state is read by glow colour: a chain of green-lit nodes down the western desert, blue-lit nodes at centre-north, plain metal plates elsewhere
- four floating labels in purple serif text, each pinned beside its node: 'Foretold Bounty: Mageblood', 'Foretold Proliferation: Rerolling Favours at Ritual Altars in your Maps costs 20% reduced Tribute', 'Foretold Proliferation: Monsters Sacrificed at Ritual Altars grant 25% increased Tribute', and 'Foretold Proliferation: Rerolling Favours at Ritual Altars has no Cost the first time', with 'Ritual Altars' underlined as a keyword in each
- a small white cursor arrow at right of centre is the only other chrome on the map
