What to study

Bannerlord's kingdom layer is a spreadsheet that insists on being a court: the fief ledger gives every castle an owner with a face and a banner, and the dossier beside it mixes hard logistics (food stocks trending +11, walls at level 3, loyalty at 59.2) with the one political act the screen exists for, proposing that the fief change hands, priced at 400 influence with its current support shown as 0%. The lesson is in the adjacency: because the proposal button sits under the same stats that justify it, the player reads governance as a single act, know the place, know its lord, spend the influence. The five tabs (Clans, Fiefs, Policies, Armies, Diplomacy) make the same promise for the whole kingdom: one desk, every instrument of rule. Frame at about 0:50 in the Official Release Trailer (Steam; manual extraction, fine-probe frame relA_15 from the 42.5–52.5s window at 2 fps; the trailer cuts to the Clan screen's Members tab a second later, held as an alternate).

Screen inventory

  • the Kingdom screen is one tab bar over everything a ruler administers, Clans, Fiefs, Policies, Armies, Diplomacy, headed by the kingdom name (Vlandia), its lion banner, the Leader's portrait and a red Leave Kingdom button in the corner
  • the left half is a sortable ledger of the realm: Type, Name, Owner, Prosp., Defenders, Usanc Castle (569 prosperity, 51 defenders), Ormanford Castle, Hongard Castle, Verecsand Castle, Ocs Hall at 4224 prosperity and 192 defenders, every row carrying its owner's portrait and clan banner, so the table reads as people, not provinces
  • the selected fief gets a dossier on the right: Usanc Castle's painted view, its owner Berican, and an icon-led stat list, Militia 212, Food Stocks 250 (+11), Garrison 51, Loyalty 59.2, Walls 3, Security 50.1, Prosperity 569.2 (+1), with its bound village, Usanc, named under its own heading
  • politics is priced at the bottom: 'Bring forward the proposal to give this settlement to someone else (0%)' with a Propose button costing 400 influence, redistributing land is a button, a forecast support percentage and a currency, all on the same screen as the castle's food stocks
