What to study

The AI Kingdoms layer as the player actually meets it on the map: clicking a foreign kingdom opens its card (ruler portrait, name, opinion and relationship status, Declare War button) while the world map, minimap with viking and dragon timers, and notification feed stay live around it. The settled, unobstructed view of the diplomacy HUD outside a full-screen dialogue. Frame at 0:56 in the AI Kingdoms 3 movie (Steam). Disclosure: the Year 102 / Year 103 double line top-left is the game's year counter mid-tick, genuine UI. Disclosure: the top "A burgeoning town" line is clipped at the top edge and a thin blue bar sliver shows at the bottom edge (about 15px, a trailer-frame artifact).
