What to study
The whole Enforcer loop lands in one frame: pick a law from the pictogram rail, and QuickCHECK answers with a verdict dialog whose only action is GET PAID. What makes the design worth studying is how the consequences are drawn, the citizen's status meter ('1 VIOLATION POINT / NOT TOO BAD') sits directly behind the reward, so the player sees the harm and the payment in the same glance, and the game's queasy gig-economy point is made by layout rather than dialogue. Even the balance readout cooperates: H0 in the header, one button away from changing. Frame at about 0:33 in the 2020 Trailer (Steam; manual extraction, the dialog holds for under a second inside the trailer's zoom sequence, so the scene-change pass caught only its zoomed states).

- the HSPD CITIZEN QuickCHECK dialog owns the centre: banner title, the verdict 'VIOLATION DETECTED', a gavel icon, the line 'Well done Enforcer!' and one purple button, 'GET PAID', with the cursor already on it, a moderation report resolves into praise and payment in a single window
- behind it, the case page stays visible: 'Gumshoe Gooper Short Story' by AbbyWrites58, and the page owner's status header 'ABAGAIL LORNE'S STATUS, UPDATED TODAY'
- the status header carries the consequence as a segmented red meter: '1 VIOLATION POINT' filled against the verdict 'NOT TOO BAD', with a FLAG button to its right, one report moves a citizen's public record by exactly one visible notch
- the left rail is SELECT LAW itself: five numbered pictogram tiles (a theft, an assault with hearts, weapons, a masked figure, a prohibited cash register) over a CANCEL button, the laws are pictures first, chosen before the dialog can appear
- the Explorer header persists through the judgment: 1999.11.05, 9:10P, and a hypnocash balance of H0, the Enforcer is broke at the moment the GET PAID button appears
