What to study

Placing a backed-up base turns the whole landscape into the interface. The base appears as a giant green blueprint ghost over the terrain, and the right-hand control list is the entire tool: Change Depth (Z/C), Rotate (L.Alt), Change Height (L.Ctrl), Change Width (Q/E), Toggle On original material, Toggle Off snap to origin, with Place Blueprint as the commit action. The compass strip (909m, SW), journey tracker and vitals diamonds stay visible, so placement never leaves the survival HUD behind. Frame at 4:29 (268.7s) in the Deep Dive: Past Year Recap and September Preview (Steam).
