What to study

The roguelite draft screen does both halves of the decision on one page: the three power-ups on offer across the top, the three candidate skaters across the bottom, every skater reduced to the same four bars (SPD/ACC/PWR/CHK) in the same order so the eye compares columns instead of opening cards. Effects are one line each with the operative keyword coloured, existing power-ups are shown as tray icons with an honest empty state, and the arena-spotlight staging keeps a systems screen feeling like a sports broadcast. Frame at about 0:47 in the Official 1.0 release trailer video (Steam), a pipeline scene-change survivor (candidates/v0_0012.png at 47.0s).

Screen inventory

• top: the three offered power-ups as sticker-style icons with name plates and one-line effects, Target Practice+ (+7 Accuracy per win), Charge Shot (highlighted, red frame), The Howitzer (slapshots knock out skaters in the puck's path), with keywords colour-highlighted inside the sentence (knock out in purple)
• bottom: the three skaters who could receive the pick, each a portrait card with the same four stat bars in the same order, SPD, ACC, PWR, CHK, bar plus number, so the choice is a comparison, not three separate inspections
• each card's Power-ups tray shows what the skater already holds (scroll icons, a Tape to Tape logo token) or an explicit empty-state glyph; size class (M/L) and a role pennant sit on the name plate
• the whole screen is staged as an arena spotlight moment, dark background, light beams, a draft presented as a highlight reel, not a spreadsheet
