Creating your own mercenary in Jagged Alliance 3 means filling in a web form on a fictional 2001 website, visitor counter (00341), banner ads and all, and the certificate it issues is the character sheet. The design work is in the two budgets: PERSONAL PERKS 1/1 and TACTICAL PERKS 2/2 turn 'who is this person' and 'what do they do in a fight' into two small icon grids you fill until the fractions close, with the attribute points already spent to 0 in the header beside the name fields (DasBoot, nickname Alpha).
