What to study
This is the other half of the archive: one clip pulled out of the grid and held up as a strip of film, dated by hand — 'MINSKY - 4/15/1969' — with the rest of the archive still visible around its edges. The chrome is identical to the grid view (same four icons, same play and heart), so the player never leaves the archive; focusing a clip just swaps the browsing grid for the reel itself. It is the closest the trailers get to showing the match-cut idea: a single image, isolated, waiting to be the thing you match against.
