What to study
Route plotting is a node graph on a starfield: stations, hazards and points of interest hang on thin jump lines, a magenta line marks the threat front sweeping in from the right, and the selected hazard node is bracketed with a dashed green route drawn toward it while the bottom bar reads OUT OF REACH, so the disabled state is styled rather than hidden. The resource strip stays on top and the left icon rail stays docked, so the map never leaves the economy behind. Frame at about 1:08 in the Launch trailer (Steam).
