What to study

The game's dialogue pattern at its cleanest: a framed panel with speaker portrait, name and epithet, one full line of text and a 'Click to Continue' tab, laid over the party facing the skull-mouthed carnival tent with no combat chrome competing for attention. It shows the encounter-introduction use of the same panel that appears over the battle UI elsewhere. Frame at about 0:31 in Book Of Lore 6 - Dark Carnival Has Arrived (Steam).
