What to study

The overworld RTS layer wears its whole economy on the top bar: six creature counts, gold, mana and evilness, and three more counters at the right, so the player reads the dungeon's state without opening anything. The quest tracker ('Water parks', Contaminated Water Supplies 0/3) sits top left in the same visual language as the dungeon HUD, and the hero portrait top right carries its own cooldown diamond. The Ring of Fire tooltip is the screen's teaching moment: a plain-language spell description with exact numbers (10 seconds, 76.4 damage) anchored to the Pit Fiend in the middle of its own fire ring. Two minimaps frame the bottom corners, and the army stats under the left one (38%, 331, 3, 20, 4.2) keep the force composition one glance away. Frame at about 36.8s in the How 2 Play Trailer US (Steam).
