What to study
Death Stranding's Photo Mode treats a menu like a camera body: a tabbed panel (switched with the bumpers) sits over the frozen scene, and the Camera tab reduces photography to three rows - Angle on a wide blue slider reading 38.0, Roll at 0, Show UI Off. Nothing is boxed in a window; the panel floats at the scene's lower right and a one-line controller prompt bar along the bottom carries every verb the mode has. Frame at about 0:04.5 in the Photo Mode Trailer (Steam), a manual extraction inspected at full resolution in this prep; the trailer's burned-in 'Photo Mode' caption and 'Game Footage Not Final' notice are not game UI and are disclosed in the elements.

Screen inventory
- the Photo Mode panel is a tabbed strip anchored to the lower right of the frozen scene, switched with LB/RB bumpers: seven icon tabs in a row - Camera (selected, labelled), two pose/expression faces, aperture, brightness, frame shape and Frame
- Camera tab rows: Angle on a long blue slider at 38.0, Roll on a plain slider at 0, Show UI set to Off with a chevron - each row is a label left, a control centre, a numeric or state readout right
- along the very bottom, a full controller prompt bar in small pale type: L Move Camera, R Rotate Camera, LT Lower Camera, RT Raise Camera, R Show Grid, X Hide Menu, Y Reset, B Resume Game - the mode's whole verb set, always on screen
- behind the panel, the frozen moment the mode exists for: Sam bursting through an explosion, debris suspended mid-air - Photo Mode stops time and the UI is the only thing that moves
