What to study
Zoning as a diagnostic overlay: the residential brush paints a green grid over whole blocks while the left panel keeps the encoding honest, with a legend for residential buildings and signature buildings plus red to green gradients for Residential Suitability and Ground Pollution, so a bad plot reads before a single building is placed. The bottom palette holds six residential types with Theme, Tool Mode, and Snapping controls, and the city bar underneath tracks the whole city (Big City, Sundlandet, 15,316 people) while the player paints. Frame at about 27.5s in the Release Trailer 2026 (Steam). No trailer burn-in or caption on this frame.
