What to study

A run is configured as two stacked carousels, each readable in one line: the deck on top (Erratic Deck, 'All Ranks and Suits in deck are randomized', the load-bearing words Ranks and Suits picked out in orange) and the difficulty stake below it (Red Stake, 'Small Blind gives no reward money', with the cumulative warning 'Applies all previous Stakes' in smaller type). Nothing is a dropdown or a settings page: you flip with chunky red arrow paddles, position is shown as pager dots (last dot lit for decks, second for stakes), the deck is pictured by its own card back, a grid of tiny coloured glyphs that already looks randomized, and the stake is a poker chip, so both choices stay physical objects from the card table. Frame at about 0:13 in the Accolades Gameplay Video (Steam), manually extracted at 13.0s: the scene-change pass caught this screen only mid-zoom. Caveat: the trailer's camera is zoomed into the select panel, so the panel is complete but the wider menu around it is out of frame.
