What to study
The tactical-battle HUD in a settled state: a unit card (Amazon Tyrannodon, 55/65 health, 24/32 movement) anchors the bottom left, a six-icon ability bar with controller cycling hints sits at bottom centre, cyan hexes show exactly where the selected unit can move, and NEXT UNIT plus Operations Ready / Round 2 carry the turn structure at the right edge. The prompts down the left (INFO, RADIAL MENU, free targeting) show the game teaching its controls inside the HUD rather than in a separate tutorial. Frame at about 0:57 in the Release Trailer (Steam).
