Major faction
The Kin of Sheredyn are strangers to Saiadha — second-generation descendants of an expedition sent by a mighty interstellar empire. They arrived decades ago to found a new colony, but were stranded, battered by storms and Necrophage attacks. Their charismatic leader, Commander Garin, disappeared years ago exploring ancient Endless ruins, and has since become a near-mythical figure many Kin believe will return to save them.

A defensive, territory-focused faction. The Kin prefer to develop the land they hold rather than sprawl endlessly, gaining bonuses for staying under their city cap, and win fights from fortified positions with troops that recover quickly on home ground. The most forgiving first pick for new players.
